I used to occasionally be at some events with a bunch of artists and art students. I like art in general, mostly when it is great photography or paintings. But I get the huge mass of overwrought, pretentious BS “art” you’re skewering and listened to many, many people who talked this way.

Try and have a discussion about something actually meaningful though and well… the veneer comes off.
