Rajma Rice Recipe

Ingredients:

- 1 cup rajma (kidney beans), soaked overnight

- 1 cup rice

- 2 onions, finely chopped

- 2 tomatoes, finely chopped

- 1 inch ginger, grated

- 2–3 garlic cloves, minced

- 1 teaspoon cumin seeds

- 1 teaspoon red chili powder

- 1 teaspoon turmeric powder

- 1 teaspoon coriander powder

- Salt, to taste

- Water

- Oil, for cooking

Instructions:

  1. Rinse the soaked rajma and add them to a pressure cooker along with 4 cups of water and some salt. Cook for 4–5 whistles or until the rajma is soft and cooked well. Keep aside.
