Before we learn why digital marketing is replacing the standard way of marketing, let us study a short scenario of India and what exactly is Digital Marketing!

We need to accept that the population of India is rising day by day. We have reached 1.5 billion to become one of the most populated countries in the world. But as compared to the population in India, the penetration rate of the internet has reached 34%. In the USA, the penetration rate of the internet has exceeded 80%.

Of this 34%, the highest internet users are in Mumbai, Delhi, Pune, and Bangalore. There are 11.7 million users in Mumbai. Followed by 11.2 million in Delhi and so on.

I am giving these stats to help you understand how big our market is. These numbers are increasing day by day. I feel it is the right time for you to invest some money in digital marketing instead of standard marketing techniques.

To help to understand the importance of Digital Marketing further, let me define what digital marketing is in my terms.

  • What is Digital Marketing?

As per me, Digital Marketing is an endorsement of your products and services on digital media like social media channels, search engines, emails, and other electronic media.

There are different elements of Digital Marketing.

  • SEO (Search Engine Optimization)
  • SMM (Social Media Marketing)
  • SEM (Search Engine Marketing)
  • SMO (Social Media Optimization)
  • Content Marketing
  • Blogging

and many other activities.

I know you are thinking, why am I asking you to switch to Digital Marketing in place of standard marketing. But I have a reason to prove my suggestion.

  • Why Digital Marketing?

For some apparent reasons mentioned below.

a) Cost

There is a considerable reduction in the cost of marketing. There are many Digital Agency in Mumbai who provides their services at a very reasonable price. At the same time, the amount you invest in standard marketing like TV or print media is so high as compared to Digital Marketing.

For example, you will have to invest crores in standard marketing. Whereas, you will reach your target audience easily in a few thousand using Digital Media.

b) Reach your target audience easily

As mentioned above, there are 11.7 million users in Mumbai using the internet. You can easily reach your target audience with a variety of filters provided in digital media like age, sex, location, area of interest, and much more.

Also, using the area of interest filter, you make sure that you reach the right audience. For example, you are running a chocolate ad, so someone interested to buy chocolate will only see such an announcement.

I would say that digital media is a savior for small, medium, and large businesses. You have all the power to reach the right audience at the right time.

c) Analytics

Suppose you are running a standard ad on TV, how will you recognize who has seen the advertisement and who has not. There is no analytics provided by TV media or print media.

Whereas if you decide to post an ad on digital platforms, you get comprehensive analytics of how many users watched your commercial and who were interested and reverted.

You can easily track your target audience.

d) Interactive

How will you interact with your target audience if you are selecting print media as your marketing channel?

The significance of Digital Marketing is that you can connect with your target audience, and you can interact with them. There are higher chances of converting leads to clients using digital media.

Summing up

Still, I feel Digital Marketing is new for many users in India. People are yet following the traditional way of marketing.

I feel the businesses which are still away from Digital Media should connect with a Digital Agency in Mumbai or any city of India. These agencies are the best source for understanding the actual ROI of Digital Marketing. These agencies will also help you to know how much you will save if you select Digital Marketing and put a hold on the traditional way of marketing.

Convert your target audience into your paying customers, taking the help of Digital Agency in Mumbai or any other cities of India.
