Oh just that the south likes to take precious things, like thick soft socks that cuddle your feet…

We are at a high enough elevation that it gets consistently cold enough that it stays cold. During January, and February usually we require coats, and winter gear the whole time. Also, this house will get snow even though just down the hill there isn’t any.

Every year I have lived here there has been a snow event good enough to earn our factory a snow day. Which means you get to have a day off without pay, or as a vacation day. You get to choose.

Last year, even with El Nino, we got a wallop that was so beautiful it just covered everything. We took a long hike up the hill, and it snowed some more. The dogs loved it.
