It would be so much easier if standard eating patterns (for example, 2 side dishes + 3 main courses + 2 desserts) could be taken into account when setting prices.

All main courses have the same price, all side dishes have the same price, all desserts have the same price.

And meaningful combinations of those prices, according to standard eating patterns, would lead to a cost that is a “good number”, like 100 or 50.

People would love coming to a restaurant that always ends up costing 100.
