Medium is a corporation. Maybe they thought direct quotes that call someone out on their shit is slander, even if you’re right and that someone is a piece of shit.

There is a way to keep that post intact, though. You can post it on pastebin.com and put the link up here on Medium.

Pastebin is anonymous if you’re not logged into it. So nobody can prove you wrote it. And you certainly have the right to use hyperlinks, right?

I feel very bad that Medium is over-policing its users, because everybody knows that that policing will be biased.

People who have less followers on Medium are not policed like this.

Please give pastebin a try. I know you’re hesitant that you could lose access to your account and your publication.

I guess the best way to fix this is to create a separate account that only created the publication. Maybe you already did it this way.

The owner of the publication is that dummy account, and your account is one of the editors.

That way, you may lose your account but you will not lose your publication.

I love your writing and I really hate that Medium, for some reason, chose to censor your post. I’ve never seen Medium do that to anybody before, especially when it doesn’t break any laws or is obviously against Medium’s guidelines.
