This was a lovely reply. Before saying anything else, thank you for taking the time to write a response.

You’re the CEO of MatterMark. You have tons of work and the never-ending pressure of entrepreneurship. Still, you went out of your way to respond despite having no obligation to do so.

But I may have cheated a little, and I thank you for understanding that but not pointing it out in politeness. By so openly saying you don’t need to Respond, and also saying that a Recommend is also not an obligation, I now realise that I had forced you to recommend and respond. A

Even though it wasn’t an obligation, I made it one (unknowingly) by almost indirectly begging you to recommend and respond.

If read in a certain way, I (after having read it again now) feel that my previous Response (two hierarchical levels up) deserves at least some contempt.

I realise again that I am blaming myself and making myself the villain. There, I did it again. Every sentence that describes making myself the villian, again makes myself the villain.
