Thanks for offering the Post article and continued dialog. I can’t really believe that national zoning decision-making will work better than our current local/regional government/free market system. Where has this worked on a broad scale and in the long term?
And where does centrally-created affordable housing end? As soon as you find a beautiful, affordable place to live in Santa Cruz, should new housing be created to allow all families, regardless of their means, to live alongside you? This doesn’t seem possible.
