They say that time flies by faster when you are having fun. But time goes oh-so-slow when you’re down and miserly, and when you’re short on confidence and morale. The symptoms of your negativity can be attributed to a host of causes. Perhaps you didn’t get the job you wanted, perhaps you failed an exam, or maybe, you feel like you aren’t capable of achieving anything you want. The list is endless and quite frankly, tedious. However, I want to ask you this— How will you overcome your somber state of mind?

Every day is a canvas waiting to be painted with love and positivity. Live your life to the fullest, and with the utmost happiness. The way you feel influences how you think, and the way you think determines how you act. Surround yourself with people that make you feel wanted and see the best in people. Stop drowning in the abyss of your glooms, and start viewing time as a blessing. Be grateful for what you have, and your joy will grow in abundance. Tell someone you love them, to help them get past their darkest moments and procreate positive energy.

Words to live by.

Sometimes it is that simple to flip the switch on your mood. People will tell you that the good things in life don’t come easy — which is the half-truth if you ask me. Good things in life will come to you if you are receptive. Give more than you take, and you will be receiving more than you can handle! Empower yourself to become a better person, and try to bring the best in other people. Don’t let anybody steal your shine. Lastly, remember this, every time you snap your fingers is the time that you can never get back, so how will you decide to act in this moment?
