Throughout Pinker’s research, he never eluded to the increase violence committed against animals and the environment. This of course coincides with an ever increasing human population, that currently sits at 7.34 billion and counting. By 2030 it is projected to be 8.9 billion, how is this sustainable?

The goal is to raise everyone’s standard of living, while human affairs and governance (corporate rule) advance for the greater good. The question is, will the moral status of the world worsen as materialism gains greater value. It’s what we are seeing today, where governments and industry weight the $$ value of human and animal life for future development.
