Oracle Form & Report 6i in Windows 64 bit
Oracle Form & Report made long before 64-bit Windows created. One of the problems that often encountered is the reports aren’t generated from the application. Nothing is showed in Reports Background Engine.
This issue was caused by a patch that wasn’t function properly. There are two libraries affected, nn60.dll and nnb60.dll. These libraries are located in the Form & Report installer bin directory, c: program files\orant\bin, for example. These libraries manage the communication between application form, report, debugger, and others.
The malfunction of those two libraries was caused by the updated patch on Oracle Form & Report 6i. The way to overcome this problem is to copy and paste these following libraries, the link’s provided, to the bin installation directory.
To avoid crashes, it is better to back up the old ones before copying the new libraries.
