I Lost 86 Pounds and Learned a Few Things
Chris Higgins

I’ve had this article open to read for several days now and I’m glad I did. You offer great food for thought and great inspiration. I am not obese; just a bit overweight and completely out of shape but I am constantly aware of my body and how it’s changed over the years. And I’m a “sitter.” A long history of both physical and mental health struggles (depression) turned me into a lazy, fearful, loner and I’m not one bit pleased with myself about it. I don’t stay motivated when I do try to change it. You may have helped me to resolve that problem. (I’ll let you know.) While disability income does not allow for a personal trainer in the budget, I’ll start looking for an accountability partner until I can figure out the best way for me to train. Thankfully, the local Y does have a (slight!)sliding scale membership rate that I can afford.

Congratulations to you on your success. You have earned the praise and respect. Own it and be proud!
