Why don’t you come around?

I left the house at six,

I could see the dawn as I was walking down the station

I must have grabbed something on the way

to eat from the local food corner , the usual place,

and it started raining,

I would feel blue like I sometimes do,

When I bumped into you,

I never looked where I was going,

I said sorry and dropped a hurried glance,

you asked me

where to?

DLR line.

You joined me,

with a cup of coffee,

like you knew

what I needed before you even came around.
