I agree, certain lines from films and TV shows stick in my mind. Perhaps this one is a bit niche (it's from a Scottish comedy show called Still Game) - "He who hingeth aboot gettith hee haw." For non-Scots, it translates as, "He who hangs about gets nothing." In other words, don't delay-act today.
