So President Johnson “intentionally” interrupted Ms. Hamer’s speech? Isn’t this the president who sacrificed his political career by fighting for/signing into law ground-breaking civil rights legislation?…..I’ve never heard of Fannie Lou Hamer, but not surprising since I am in my 70s and educated in southern schools. Sounds like she warrants a lot more attention. A real hero.
