David, you might want to listen to some more Trump supporters who are looking at this in line with what is good for the country and not solely what is good for their own pocketbook. You might not want to ask slanted questions either. There are also many points you make that don’t include the opposing argument, thus leaving the reader wondering.
From my perspective, a vote for Trump is a “no” vote for Hillary. With Hillary we get more abortions at tax payer expense and later in term, less freedom of christian religion, less freedom of patriotic speech, extremely liberal Supreme Court Justices who will modernize the Constitution instead of uphold it, more Obamacare and eventually in the form of single payer government run healthcare, more gun and ammo restrictions, eventual gun registration, more business regulation, more Executive Orders, more debt, higher taxes for all be it in the form of income tax or hidden fees from the likes of health premium subsidies, free college tuition, EPA and climate change, or business taxes passed on to us and estate taxes at 65%. Don’t forget less law and order and more war on police, more race riots, more unrest in the middle east, less passion to destroy ISIS, amnesty, continued birthright citizenship, open borders with 600 million potential immigrants coming to this country because she refuses to let us know just what specific criteria she would use to reject an applicant for entry to the country and just how many more people we need a year and why? Maybe she will just tell us we will be a take all comers country?
How could anyone possibly vote for Hillary? Do we really need another 4 or 8 years of corrupt scandal after scandal? We have not even begun to seriously investigate the Foundation. Ever since Arkansas this political couple has done nothing but make themselves and lawyers rich and since they are both lawyers, they know how to milk and beat the system. They know how to parse lies better than any other politicians known to man. Nobody could follow the deny, deny, deny, “I don’t recall” philosophy as many times as they do and still not be in jail. The odds are incredible! The closest they came was when they had to admit guilt because of DNA on a dress! And even then, the Democratic Senate couldn’t impeach one of their own even if other rape accusations and known sexual misconduct were present. I find it very interesting how the Democrats and the media ( after 7–8 months of grueling investigation because of the lie) accepted the apology from WJC. He ended it with this….
Now, this matter is between me, the two people I love most — my wife and our daughter — and our God. I must put it right, and I am prepared to do whatever it takes to do so.
Nothing is more important to me personally. But it is private, and I intend to reclaim my family life for my family. It’s nobody’s business but ours.
Even presidents have private lives. It is time to stop the pursuit of personal destruction and the prying into private lives and get on with our national life.
Our country has been distracted by this matter for too long, and I take my responsibility for my part in all of this. That is all I can do.
Now it is time — in fact, it is past time to move on.
We have important work to do — real opportunities to seize, real problems to solve, real security matters to face.
And so tonight, I ask you to turn away from the spectacle of the past seven months, to repair the fabric of our national discourse, and to return our attention to all the challenges and all the promise of the next American century.
I ask you, have you heard Bill or Hillary step up and tell the media they don’t agree with all the trash talk and won’t support it, that everyone needs to stay on issue, take the high road? Not once…in fact, they are helping to dig it up and use it to distract from the real issues of what will happen if HRC is elected to implement more nanny state big government policies.
Donald Trump is angelic compared to what we face if Hillary and Bill are allowed access to the White House and allowed to start building their Democrat House, Senate and Supreme Court during her 4 or 8 years. In my opinion, the GOP leaders and all GOP/Independent voters need to get their act together and help Trump win this thing! If they spent as much time convincing their supporters of why Hillary is the worst candidate ever and less time fretting over what Trump has said or the tone he uses, we would already have this thing won! Trumps positions or vision of his term is for the most part the exact opposite of Hillary. GOP’s don’t realize that the Democrats never not support their nominee. Even the Hillary supporters did not abandon Obama after she lost so easily to him and when he told them “she would say and do anything to get elected”. I always said that Bill Clinton could have raped every Democrat female in Congress and they would never turn on him or Hillary…they are loyal to the core and that is how they win elections. They ignored her Benghazi video lie, her lies to the American people about the server, the classified emails, the deletions of 33,000 emails, pay to play thru the Foundation, DNC rigging of the primary to make sure Bernie Sanders didn’t have a real chance, etc. Dems never make it personal or think their own career is more important than what is good for the party to win and have the power in government. They will even ignore voter fraud (more and more stories in the media and they always seem to be Democrats?) The GOP failed because they played too fair with McCain, Romney and now because Trump didn’t do his time in politics and he is an outsider they are trying to set him up for failure.
Thanks for sharing your story but we only have 28 days to get serious and get Trump to the White House so he can help make America Great Again! What say you all???
One last point- your friend whom you labeled as comfortable and successful in business seems to have been over extended with credit…another ideology of the left, but not limited to them, borrow and spend more than you have because if it comes due and you don’t have it, we will take care of you. I suggest you tell her to try a Dave Ramsey Financial Peace conference…very educational with the emphasis on personal responsibility and accountability for your own wealth. She will need it for the next go around of Democratic leadership if Hillary wins. By now you know that Bill Clinton was the guy behind the housing collapse…no underwriting of mortgages, just give them out, bundle and sell, baby sell!
