“Kid, you’ll move mountains!” — Dr. Seuss
It all began one night after returning from a visit to my niece.
I had read from her collection of Dr. Seuss books as her bedtime story. I remember pausing to highlight a life-lesson and elaborating on it for her. I could hear my niece complain about how I was ruining the story, but I told her, “Lily, Dr. Seuss holds the secrets of life.” On my drive back home, my thoughts kept turning back to the simple truths I had read and I decided that these ideas should be explored further. It is then that Design, Eggs & Jam was conceived.
Design, Eggs & Jam is a short, retrospective collection inspired by the careful balance between staying creative, newfound wisdom, and keeping a light heart. Using selected quotes from Theodor Seuss Geisel (better known to the world as the beloved Dr. Seuss) this collection shares life hacks and lessons we can learn from Dr. Seuss’ brilliant mind.

In a busy world, where we are programmed to deliver rapid results, we forget that things take time. Moving a mountain sounds like an impossible task to achieve but over time it’s possible. Every move you take is moving and shaking the mountain. It starts by you doing and keeping on doing what you think is impossible to do. Just think, how would you feel if you actually did the impossible? How would that affect your life?
