This sounds like me, too. And sometimes I find it exactly where I have looked several times and could swear it wasn’t there! I lost an earring at least a couple of years ago. I looked and looked for it. I knew I didn’t lose it outside as I had never come home missing one. I looked in the dresser drawers in case it god knocked in there. Nothing. I looked under the dresser. Nothing. I gave up. One day recently I was using the carpet sweeper to get the dust under my dresser. I decided to get down on my hands and knees to look again. Again I saw nothing. But I wasn’t going to give up, not quite yet. I got a little flashlight out and pointed it under the dresser. Lo and behold! There was that earring! I was so glad I hadn’t decided to throw the other one out. I might have, but it wasn’t a cheap pair though it wasn’t overly expensive either. So the lost was found once again and I thank the Lord, even for an earring.
