The Value of Empathy

I absolutely disagree with this article’s slant on empathy being a warm fuzzy skill and that it can not be measured. It can.

Also, people who lack empathy will always lower the collective productivity of the people around them.

People who lack empathy also fall into socio-emotional disorder descriptions in DMS evaluations.

Empathy is not a skill. It is a ways of being - and contributes to an engaged work culture with measurable outcomes related to cost savings, productivity improvements or both.
