YES!!! All of this!!! We absolutely MUST give credit to those who are not afraid (and who have the power) to reach back and help another woman of color get a foot in the door, a leg up, and be positioned to take advantage of an opportunity. It is NOT always easy — but we MUST keep working at it. Like you, I am continually inspired by First Lady Michelle Obama, and Viola Davis is one of my absolute favorite actresses on the planet.
