I really enjoyed the last bit. My opinion in regards to that “climbing” to the role of management is not the same as a step up, first of all I agree 100%. I think many people get this bit wrong, rising to the position of a manager gives them the right to “step down” a bit, which is weird as it is supposed to be a step up. I think good managers are those who make themselves a resource for the team, and not the other way around. Hence, it’s supposed to be far more work to lead, than not to.
