Who are we, what do we do and why did our students choose to study communication at Marquette? These are the questions we set out to answer, especially for our new and prospective students. At Marquette, we offer nine different majors within the College of Communication. While we are proud that we are one of the few universities that has a college solely dedicated to this field, we understand that it can be overwhelming for our new students who are interested in communication but aren’t sure where to begin.

With that in mind, we created the #WeAreComm series that shows who
our students are, why they chose their majors and what drew them to study communication at Marquette. So if you’re not sure what to study or where to start, take a look and see which fields spark your interest.

After getting a glimpse of our students and what their majors entail, our Director of Student Success, David Denomie, is standing by to answer questions. Dave has been instrumental in helping our students who have difficulty deciding on a major find their way. In the meantime, we hope you enjoy meeting some of our students!
