Numbers, Nature and Numerology
When I started developing Hidden Parable Theory, for a long time I tried to remain cautious of referring to it as a form of numerology. Unfortunately, that is exactly what it is but now I realize that numerology is only a small component. As for what kind of numerology I based my theory on its a modified form of Gematria (an ancient form of numerology used in Judaism) which creates a more advanced system for finding numerical relationships with symbolic numbers in the Bible. Furthermore, these numbers are mathematically based on concepts derived from the golden ratio to find encoded information. As a result, Hidden Parable Theory is far less susceptible in making loosely defined correlations with symbolic numbers. But like I said Hidden Parable Theory is another kind of numerology. However, there are still useful applications of using this method that lead to some very serious discoveries.
Surprisingly, these discoveries are made from inconsistencies mentioned in the Gospels made by Jesus’ disciples. How is this possible? This is done by making connections with symbolic numbers in the Bible and universal numbers found in nature (the golden ratio being one example). It is then by making connections with these numbers that lead to hidden information contained in these sacred texts, one example being the location of missing cities. So, numbers, nature and numerology are the means of finding encoded information in the Bible. But what else can this tell us?
Well for one thing there is a connection between biblical numbers and aspects of nature that define a very specific point of view. In my book Hidden Parable Theory: The Biblical Codes Found in Nature and the Universe theses connections between biblical numbers and aspects of nature ultimately are defined as what I call the Straight Universe. I will give a very basic example here to explain this idea which is first mentioned in Genesis.
If you have never read Genesis, it describes the creation of everything (earth, oceans, plants, animals, man, women, and the universe) during a seven-day event. Each day then describes the creation of one of these things. So, there is a number correlating with God’s creations and specific symbols. One of these symbols is the celestial sphere which was created on the fourth day of creation where God created the sun, moon and stars. That means the number four is associated with these particular objects that all are described by the symbol of a celestial sphere.
Interestingly, when you continue reading the Old Testament the number four again is associated with celestial objects. This time it’s in Mose’s Ten Commandments where the fourth commandment mentions the terrestrial sphere of earth. However, it does not stop here. If you continue reading on into the New Testament the universe is also associated with the number four describing it as the “…four winds of the universe…”. So now the universe is also associated with the number four and the symbol of a celestial sphere. But why is this happening and why are there so many references in the Bible between these celestial objects and the number four?
To put it simply it's a dimension or dimensions of scientific units that involve these celestial objects and the number four from a universal perspective. The units that I am referring to are miles, intensity, light years, and so on that are describing some type of scale or weight. This is a big idea in the Bible and even mentioned in Proverbs stating scales and weights are one of God’s devices. Thus, units of measurement especially modern units are a product of one of his designs. Actually, this is an age-old idea dating back to the Babylonians where they developed a system of counting involving a base 60 system (our system is base 10) believing it was divine.
Today we do not bother with thinking of modern units symbolically because they have become so advanced. Nonetheless, thinking of modern units this way points to some very interesting connections mentioned in the Bible. These connections are done by using universal numbers described in the Bible and certain models of nature just like the example using the universal number of four and celestial objects. The result then paints a very real picture of how to interpret the Bible.
