That’s certainly valid as a point of view. The way I see it, Boston has a mediocre roster that highly benefits from playing in the East. In that position, they can go all-in and try to get the best players available and go for the title right now. You can get lucky and win.

Or they can be patient, see where the pick will fall, work the draftees and wait for a true superstar to be available . Try to be perennial contenders. Boston is in position to choose its path.
