Roadmap of Ur My Type:

The points mentioned on this roadmap aren’t in a specific order. We adjust to whatever we deem most important at the current moment.

— Re-design of the entire app

Our app isn’t the most pretty one out there, especially compared to other dating apps on the market. This is mainly because no one on our team is a designer, and we put our main focus on creating an app with the needed features as fast as possible.

But worry not, we are in the process of hiring excellent designers right as I’m writing this, and our goal is that by the end of the year our app is setting the bar higher in terms of how beautiful a dating / social app should look like.

— Uploading more than 1 picture to your user profile

This is something that’s been requested a lot, and we’ll soon add the function to upload multiple pictures to your profile.

— Enabling users to post Text and Videos to the Memes feed

Why only post memes/images to the feed? We don’t know, and that’s why another point on our agenda is to enable users to post Text posts and upload short videos.

— Improving the chat

If you’re using an Android phone you might notice that sometimes there’s a lag between receiving the notifcation of a new message, and actually seeing it on the app. We’re aware of this and know how to fix this, and will do so quickly, too.

— Translating the app into other languages

We already have the translations ready and are currently building the framework to support multiple languages on our app. You should be able to use our app in your native tongue before the end of this year.

— Voice and Video Calls

Also on our to-do list. Of course for free. Voice messages will also be added, but aren’t as much of a priority right now.

— New Onboarding Process

We are completely re-designing the way our onboarding and sign up process works, for a faster and more seemless experience when using our app for the first time.

— Teleport feature

Currently you can choose between seeing users that are living near you or find users from all over the world with global mode.

What will be able on our app next is to switch your location to different places. For example if you’re from Milano, you could try out Rome. Or if you’re Berlin you can take a look at Munich. This of course would work worldwide.

— Improved Personality Tests

Althought our tests give quite accurate results (according to user feedback so far), we want to create even better tests. This however isn’t as high on our priority list as the points mentioned before.

As you can see, we have a lot of work in front of us, and this Roadmap is going to get updated along the way, but having a lot of work to do hasn’t stopped us in the past 1.5 years and it also won’t stop us for the coming 1.5 years :)
