There is no era of peace. You can call it an era where major powers do not confront each other directly/ globally. But, this is not peace. Millions were killed in the last 20 -30 years in local/regional conflicts. Every continent has had it. This is not an era of peace, but of transition. And as such, the forces, the players, are changing and adapting.
