I will make #100DaysOfEnglish, No shame
Hello, my name is Diego Perez and I challenge myself to make #100DaysOfEnglish. I was lazy about improving my English skills, so this is a way to force myself to get accountable for my progress.
It is the first time that I chose to overcome my shame for writing or speaking in a language different than my mother tongue, but I believe this will give me the practice I need to accomplish my goal of getting a remote job in the USA, that is my main reason.
I enjoy watching TV shows and movies without subtitles, but getting fluency in speaking and writing is my Final Boss in this game of having a good English level. To win this challenge, I make only two rules that I have to repeat every day for 100 days in a row.
Rules
- Every day I have to publish an article written in English on Medium, at least 250 words per article about whatever topic I want to write that day
- Publish a short video on Instagram Stories speaking about that topic
Concessions
- I can use Grammarly because I think it will help me out to get fluency while I am writing
