Peace

I have found “peace,” like “beauty” is in the eye of the beholder…Several of my early careers were focused on my eyesight & visual acuity, so I have always regarded them to the highest….While my eyes have beheld many things, the notion of NOT finding BEAUTY in any direction seems impossible, however my PEACE has a clear definition, qualifiers and filter.

We were instructed to “give peace a chance,” in the late sixties and the lyrics were sung, but I am still awaiting a period where this is an action as passionately delivered as the song. My PEACE is all encompassing, which is why I remain in perpetual pursuit and in appreciation thereof whenever I see a glimmer of it. I know that PEACE is also illusive, but I choose to seek it, pursue it and nurture it wherever I find it.

My PEACE can be observed, advocated for and appreciated…there are times when I see it present and smile and other times I become fully engaged in walking the talk. So on this day I want nothing more than a piece of PEACE that I can plant for tomorrow’s blossoms.
