A woman is in menopause when she has no longer had a period for an year — or to say that the end of the reproductive cycle and fertility for a woman. Symptoms of this starts a few months prior, and can stretch up to a while till you finally hit the pause button on your menses. On an average the indications may last around three-four years from your last period.
