Brave. That’s a powerful word to me as I grow and learn to accept myself. For me, it means I’m not afraid to live life to the fullest, to enjoy the life I have and not dwell on what I don’t have. Brave means to take chances and live adventurously.

Today I went for a jog/walk after months of just studying and working I realized that I haven’t been living my life to the fullest. Just because I’m on a break in between semesters doesn’t mean I can just stop living my life. So, I took hold of my life and decided to go out and enjoy the beautiful day, feel the sun on my face and enjoy the smell of the breeze by the pond and experience something new.

To be brave, I’ve decided to wake up early and drink coffee, go for walks and listen to music, read books and eat fruit, blog and learn something new about myself every day. I’m going to start respecting myself and making the most of every day that I have. I’m going to make my voice heard, learn who I am and love myself as I am.

I decided that I’m going to be BRAVE.
