Virtua at home

Finally, just received my personal Oculus. After a little trepidation wondering whether my PC was up to snuff, I was pleasantly surprised with the experience. Having tried numerous VR demos at trade shows and showcase events, I have my very own playhouse to experience at my own pace and am still blown away.

I don’t impress easily. Especially on the gadget and technology front. But VR is really transformational in a way 3D tv was not. Being completely immersed in an interactive environment is THE new medium. (Pun intended)

While still in its infancy, the presence is impressive. I’ve only been in the Rift for a few hours, but I can’t wait to dive back in.
