Hello World

Okay, perhaps not the most original title for an intro post for someone in tech…but I’m here now. And I’m not changing it.

I’m Sarah Klein. Professional dreamer, former startup founder, wife to a new doctor, dog mom to two of the happiest, floofiest pups you ever did see, an eternal optimist, and new Seattle resident.

My life has been a string of following passions, chasing dreams, and making things happen. As a child, we moved a lot — think >20 times before graduating high school, a lot — which meant this introvert had to master the art of making friends fast and get very comfortable with change.

This had a huge impact on how I saw the world and the possibilities that lie within it. My own life has been just one immersive study of people and their similarities and differences from one place to another. It made me curious and observant and incredibly comfortable with the unknown.

Fast forward to 2020, where I’m sitting in Seattle, with my dogs napping under my feet as I search for jobs; ruminating on what makes me great and helps me stand out from the Brad’s of the world, fresh out of his MBA program with half of the real business experience and — more often than not — having lived a much more conventional life.
