The Problem:

There are still so many problems in the world that need to be dealt with. So step by step we can make it better. We saw more and more sim card jackings appearing. In 2017, 750,000,000 people where a potential victim for this. And if you are in crypto you know how much $ you can loose. And this is not the only problem. The monopoly position of telecom providers is enormous. They can ask and charge you anything, and only thing you can do is sign the papers. in the beginning you paid for calls, texts and web. Later you paid only for texts and calls, internet was free. a year later you pay for internet and calls. You don’t know what is coming next.

The Solution:

Blockchain is set to disrupt the networking industry significantly. Digitel (digital telecom) is an ecosystem of blockchain based solution for Decentralized network. We are introducing a new cryptocurrency and an underlying blockchain economy that will improve the communication network industry. To fuel and empower this transformation we are creating a decentralized communication network which is a mesh network with nodes that will connect everybody all over the world. The Digitel mesh network would be active over a Wi-Fi network connection and In the not too distant future we will be manufacturing a special phone (with a partnership) that will come pre-equipped with a Digitel network mesh infrastructure.

To be truly decentralized, we first have to deal with the dependency that we have on present ISP’s. These ISP’s make use of centralized servers which may store websites, apps, and user data, users have no means to physically connect with other peers without the infrastructure supplied by ISPs and controlled by the middlemen which are either corporations or governments. We have found a solution to eradicate this “middlemen” as mentioned in the above paragraph. We are introducing a decentralized mobile mesh networking platform, powered by blockchain technology and tokenization, that can put the power of connectivity back into the hands of everyone in the world.

A wireless mesh network (WMN) is a communications network made up of radio nodes organized in a mesh topology. It is also a form of wireless ad hoc network… a decentralized type of wireless network. The network is ad hoc because it does not rely on a pre-existing infrastructure, such as routers in wired networks or access points in managed (infrastructure) wireless networks. Instead, each node participates in routing by forwarding data for other nodes, so the determination of which nodes forward data is made dynamically on the basis of network connectivity and the routing algorithm in use. The coverage area of the radio nodes working as a single network is sometimes called a mesh cloud. Access to this mesh cloud is dependent on the radio nodes working in harmony with each other to create a radio network. A mesh network is reliable and offers redundancy. When one node can no longer operate, the rest of the nodes can still communicate with each other, directly or through one or more intermediate nodes. Wireless mesh networks can self-form and self-heal. Wireless mesh networks work with different wireless technologies including 802.11, 802.15, 802.16, cellular technologies, and need not be restricted to any one technology or protocol.

The Dite token is essentially the fuel that powers the mesh network, and without it the mesh network cannot operate. Dite is a utility token and it is used in place of Bitcoin or any other Cryptocurrency because it is a lot faster and it offers lower transaction costs.

• Dite is the economic incentive for nodes in the network to provide ‘connectivity’ between devices, and to manage and sustain the network.

• Dite token can be used by end users to pay for premium services or data from app or content providers, or from other nodes (e.g., sensor data).

• Dite tokens can be used by the content providers to incentivize users to consume content

• It is a specific token that will only work on the Digitel mesh network when nodes are not connected directly to the Internet.

• Certain nodes in the network will be required to stake/bond Dite tokens in order to be a provider for the network.

• 100,000 tokens are required to successfully run a node.
