Appreciation post for today’s state of (UX) design

Screw the never ending debate on which tool/program is the best to use. I don’t care whether you’re all in on Sketch or Framer, or if Figma is your tool of choice.

All the debate is good for is that it pushes these company’s to deliver the absolute best software or tool for us as designers to use.

We should all appreciate that. We can all remember the days of designing in Macromedia Fireworks or some dodgy somewhat illegal acquired version of Photoshop CS3.

Imagine having to design a website or app without text styles, color styles, components or symbols. Not being able to create a working prototype in 10 minutes.

So, — thank you — to the amazing developers and designers who create our world of design technology.
