The Real Reason Quirky Failed

I was lucky enough to have worked for business that did not need to iterate on hardware product, toy invention studios, and more tradional iterative dev chains in software field. Based on these experiences, I always felt that Q was uncomfortably in between. Also, price points were ridiculous and really made it feel Skymall. Cool idea for ideation business, then sell the prototype and let someone else do the iteration; bring down the price and tweak the features. Hopefully others will implement this model with a prototyping facility in a cheaper zip code.
