Overlooked by Chef Martin who has his origin in the UK, meets and greets guests to Lords is a meek arty restaurant has been at the hotel road stretch since 2002. Stepping into the way side eatery, you will be greeted by a giant Koi Fish pond. Having aesthetically pleasing taste and a mini art gallery to match the fine fusion food described in the menus, Lords will certainly engage your taste buds draw your fascination to the arty drawings and sculptures on display. Open times starts at lunch and will be open for service till 11pm.

Validated by Tripadvisor for many years garnered Cetificate of Excellence 2013–2016 is rated as the №1 of 119 resturants on the the Negombo beach stretch of trendy restaurants and pubs. The food here borrows flavours from Thailand, Malaysia and Sri Lanka cuisine and will set you Rs. 1500 per person, excluding your drinks/wine.
One of mains that we ordered was the Mango Chicken and Tempered Rice which looked interesting on the menu. Having lived in Sri Lanka my entire life, I have never come across this level of fusion food centered around a local curry chicken dish! I was craving another serving the next morning and made a mental note to visit the next time we come into town. The Minced Beef Lasagne was also very well garnished and presented and hit all the right senses and left us complete and satisfied.
The highlight of this restaurant is the complimentary fish-foot spa therapy offered to all patrons who dine here. 8 cushioned seats lay over a neat cement bed tank, which is home to approx. 500 Garra Rufa, also called Doctor Fish that nibble at your ankle and feet to your heart content. And as we relaxed at this watering hole, we came into chat with 2 charming couples from Canada and Australia. As we swapped many local and overseas stories, it was fitting ending to a memorable experience. Lords has won us over, and it certainly wont be our last visit to this amasing fusion restaurant.
