As a mixed person who passes, I have been assaulted for standing up against racism more than once. It sucks, and shit like phil said does not help. I stopped going to concerts like that long ago. I don’t need nazis and their angry shit. I also know that bouncers at typical concerts are complicit. Even the police were sympathetic to the bonehead nazis. I don’t need that either. A couple of times I was laid out for a day or two, but didn’t go to emerg because questions, and more harassment. Trouble is — I don’t know how to be a bystander.
