Whether it’s Kim Dokja, Yoo Joonghyuk, or even Han Sooyoung, their connection stays unbroken. In realms where stories intertwine, Kim Dokja as the omniscient reader with knowledge beyond compare, Yoo Joonghyuk as the protagonist with determination and strength that knows no fear, and Han Sooyoung as the author who lost everything yet still held onto her imagination. In the midst of chaos and despair, they found each other. Faced with dangers and challenges, their bond only grew stronger.

Their story has me, as a reader, felt so much compassion and lost. Their friendships are beyond the very definition of loyal. Their tales break through the 4th wall of consciousness and reality. It is somewhat an exaggeration, but believe me, they have something we all wanted. A companion. Partner. Best friends. You name it. Their relationships are beautiful yet desolate, wrenched. Each one supporting the other, they protect, and they heal. They are each other’s refuge and support; they shared a history together.

Kim Dokja, he sees the story of all. But with his knowledge, comes a cost that is high. In a world where everything is a fiction, he’s bound by the plot of something untrue. With every step he takes, he carries the weight of fate, the weight of knowledge. The path he walks is treacherous and unclear. Yet he is, at his core, a dedicated and loving man. He devotes himself to those he cares for, going so far as to sacrifice his own life for them.

Yoo Joonghyuk, he was a beacon of hope in a world of chaos. A ray of sunlight through the storm. Thousands of regressions, thousands of memories he bore. He longs to protect Kim Dokja, for the one he calls his friend, to shield him from the world’s harsh embrace, to be the light in his darkness, to be the one that heals his wounds. Yet fate has different plan for him, he can do nothing but be a silent witness to the suffering of those he holds most dear. He was a hero, yet he feels lost in a world where he doesn’t belong.

Han Sooyoung, she walks a lonely path in a world that doesn’t understand her. She struggles to hold on to hope, but it slips through her fingers like sand, her heart torn between the past and the future, a constant battle between what once was and what could be. She dreams of a life where she could have done differently, where she could have loved differently, where she could have saved him (Kim Dokja) from the fate that claimed him.
