I was stuck at understanding how to handle JSON array specified with key and also if an object is nested in multiple levels.
And I wanted to know also about the different containers like unkeyedContainer while decoding and encoding.
That’s all I could think of now.
Thanks for ‘Everything about codable’. It was hard for me to understand certain things in Codable from other articles in the internet. This cleared a lot of confusion for me.
Still, I have few questions about using different containers while decode/encode. Go deeper and write a follow up for this article. Would love to read that as well.
I too agree with your message. Kaushal, you shouldn’t call endEditing: method instead of resignFirstResponder.
endEditing: method should be called only when you don’t have access to the textField, but you need to close the keyboard.
I understand this snippet and it’s usage. It’s true it will be helpful in some places.
I’m not confusing between stored properties and expressions. But, I don’t see it as a sensible option to return “false” when it is actually “nil”. Also, I don’t see any Apple API’s returning optional bool. Maybe I missed that somehow.
