This is one of the best articles I’ve read in a long time, especially online. It’s well-sourced, well-paced, and just overall so informative it’s mind-blowing. (You had me at Socrates, by the way.)
I cannot agree more with the opinion of technology is changing us, but change isn’t inherently bad or good. It never is. And as technology — in my opinion — nears its “glass ceiling” (which is the sole reliance on technology for technology’s sake) it’ll only break through by infusing it with humanity.
That’ll require us to re-examine the changes it affected on us, and how we can enhance (or decrease, in certain cases) those effects.
