DINE MAKES BIG POWER PLAY ON DATING APP INDUSTRY.

Making first dates actually happen is what we do best.

If you have already logged in today then you must have saw the new UI! As a dating app who’s main concept is to help you arrange an actual first-date, we made these changes to make sure we can give you the most useful dating app possible for meeting new people.

We saw a 3 times increase in Dine’s Date Rate.

After running many tests in Canada we are able to say we have successfully increased the amount of matches to actual first dates made and arranged by our users so we are really excited to introduce this to the United States!

Sending Dine Requests

One of the first things you will notice is that we made it easier to send a Dine request. As you may have known already, every day Dine introduces you to up to 5 people daily in your “Today’s Pick”. If you don’t like what you see, give that person a gentle tap on the pass button. See someone you like? Simply send them a Dine request by pushing down on one of the restaurant cards you would like to meet for a first date and drag and drop the card on that user’s picture. They will then be notified you asked them to Dine with you.

No more “Popular Users”

After listening to a tremendous amount of user feedback, we decided to do away with the popular user specification. Now users can send and accept Dine requests from anyone they wish!

How to send a message

If you accept a Dine request from someone or if someone accepts your’s and has not responded, hurry, because you only have 48 hours to get a conversation going and if time runs out, sorry, but it’s sayonara to that first date.

Unless you are a premium user, you will notice that if you wish to reply or initiate a conversation (does not apply for females) then you will be required to use “Roses”. Initiating or replying to a conversation will cost you 500 Roses and you and that person will be able to message for up to 7 days before that conversation closes. By using Dine every day and inviting your friends to join you will continuously earn Roses.

Why do we close conversations? Why do we close potential matches?

As we have stated before, we boast ourselves as a first date app and we really are loyal to sticking by this concept and delivering this directness to our users because our users are busy and do not have time for games. We encourage all of our users to follow through with meeting their matches in person if both parties feel good about it. These are necessary restrictions for maintaining the upmost highest quality user experience.

What are you waiting for?

If you’re serious about meeting someone new then Dine is definitely the dating app for you. Send and accept Dine requests directly to and from people you are interested in and set up a first date with a special someone. Honestly it’s really that simple. Most of all, have fun with Dine and get out there and meet someone new! There’s someone waiting for you now.
