A Weekend in Zermatt, Switzerland

Two Weeks ago Zermatt Tourism invited us to come over spending a Weekend up in the mountains. We, a group of a few photographers, traveled from different places in Switzerland to the beautiful mountain village. We spent the first night in the Riffelhaus, a hotel just in front of the famous Matterhorn. The next day we got up at half 5 in order to catch sunrise at the Riffelsee. Nicole even brought a kayak with her. After a great breakfast the next day we went up to the small Matterhorn, another mountain which is 3800 meters over sea level. I guess thats the highest altitude I’ve ever been.
The whole trip was finished with a stay in the Gornergrat Hotel which offers a crazy view over the glacier.

I filmed everything with my Sony A7RII and a Canon 16–35 mm. The gimbal I used was a Feiyutech MG Lite. Together they worked really well although the MG Lite sometimes did a really bad job at stabilizing my shots. The aerial shots were taken by Boris Baldinger and his DJI Mavic Pro. Thank you! I edit with Premiere Pro and After Effects. Combines together they work really well.

Huge thanks to all the people I’ve met on the trip. I think we had a blast! Michael Block & Regina, Fabio Zingg, Roman Flepp, Jon Guller, Boris Baldinger & Ray Gasparoto, Nicole Hunziker

I’m always happy to hear feedback!
