At what point can we consider that a person has reached narcissism, considering that it can sometimes be alleged as “self love?” Can we think that narcissism is just an exaggerated version of “self love” or it cannot even be considered love?

Just asking because I had recently a discussion on the theme and we got stuck on the discernment of whether we can consider it love (but in an exaggerated way, of course) or not.

It’d be good if you could suggest some references.
