Career Pivoting (Day 10 of 58)

Fleshed out the visual designs in Photoshop for the dashboard, it always amazes me how adding colors can change a wireframe into a real fleshed out product. The challenge for the visual designs was to create a variation with a more challenging color scheme, the default color for the app is a blue scheme, however I wanted something more challenging so I utilized an olive green color scheme.

After these photoshop designs were done, it was time to move to using sketch, which is a tool to design interfaces, websites, icons and anything else you can think of. This is a new tool for me and it’s unfair to compare it to illustrator and photoshop since those adobe products are much more powerful. But my first impression of sketch was not what I was expecting. I’m going to hold off on judging it too hard until I get more accustomed with the app and the prototyping features that it can supposedly provide.
