A friend asked me: Is morality is objective? I could not answer.

Considering the trolley problem, where a detached trolley is headed downward on a rail towards two construction workers, and I’m standing by a lever that can divert it to another rail where there’s only one construction worker, would I use the lever to divert the trolley so it kills one person instead of two?

First I’d question certainties: is it absolutely certain it will kill the two people and if I do use the lever, will the diversion work? Assuming there’s certainty, can I answer the question? What if instead of two…
