Write - for the sake of it

The art of deliberate writing

The gift of writing is so much fun. The writers are gifted individuals. Or the feeling of the moment creates passionate writing. These are all myths to a hard reality of writing.

Like any other work, the essence of writing well is writing itself. Nothing can be achieved without dedicated focus & perseverance. Just because Shakespeare was a born artist, we should not take ourselves to be so! We might be, but let's keep ourselves grounded.

Writing is an intense art. To write-we need data; to put it across well- we need clarity; to make it a captivating read- we need a unique style. But these are all later stages. The real part of it- motive. There should be none. No doing for people, fame, ego or even money. It should not be about us. It is only for the sake of it. The moment when writing is just about doing it, a sense of freedom to scribble anything will hold on to us. A sense of responsibility will soon follow through, - your duty to this ancient art of mobilizing thoughts.

Personally, writing is a joy. It is a moment of exhilaration, when an empty page presents itself (Yes, still right the old way). It asks for fulfillment, giving me the honour to do so, by creating on it. Typing can be as much fun.

Write-others’ stories, non-sense rhymes, relevant topics, bizarre subjects, emotional ranting; just write your mind out. But write for the sake of just writing
