Destiny of Choices (The Family Man Thots)

They sat face to face at a table for two as snow fell outside the airport terminal window and spent time getting to know each other…. It’s all a choice, we decided who, when and where. No one is a victim of chance. Our destiny is of our own making. This scene is played out every moment of our lives, we just don’t see it from the third person omniscient view or the all perspective consciousness that it takes to be fully aware of the cause and affect of our choices on ourselves and the ones we allow into our lives. It’s the deepest realization of agape love when we actually see others the way we want to be seen, as equals and servants in the same family. This has always been in my top 5 movies of all time. So much depth and commonality we all share! Being married and divorced from the same woman almost 3 times…(some are unwilling to yield their vision to another) This movie stirs us to remember what is possible when two people deny themselves and give endlessly out of sacrificial love so the next generation will see how it’s done. It’s rare and most are self seeking but that what I’m after and what we are all really hoping for, isn’t it?

Here’s to getting to know each other and writing our story, the one we choose to live out in front of those who are desperate to see and experience it for themselves! Here’s to you and I. We are the ones who get to know each other and love each other in world of strangers who never take the time to bare themselves in naked truth to someone who is brave enough to be the first.
