A Brief background
A 2021 internationally co-produced drama film, Murina (Croatian for ‘moray eel’) is directed by Antoneta Alamat Kusijanovi* from a screenplay by Alamat Kusijanović and Frank Graziano. The film stars Gracija Filipovi, Leon Lu*ev, Danica Curcic, and Cliff Curtis. Under his Sikelia Productions banner, Martin Scorsese serves as executive producer. At the 2021 Cannes Film Festival, it won the Caméra d’Or. Kino Lorber will release the film in the United States on July 8, 2022.
