These would be war crimes today, yet as pointed out, the USA’s cruelty to those who cannot afford to defend themselves knows no limits.

I read the article hoping that once the case got out the local corruption it might be dealt with properly, but no. Systemic corruption. But what can you expect when both defence and prosecution are mates who seek the same result?
