A thing I wonder: do companies have too many employees?
Coach Tony

Don’t forget that there will never be anyone as vested in the performance of your company than you, the owner. If you work hard and make your first hire, try your hardest to find someone who will also be at least a little invested in your company, & you’ll go a long way — assuming you were ready, & can actually met payroll (which itself becomes a huge headache the owner never understood before making that leap for the first time!)

All you VC coddled people out there wouldn’t last a week actually doing everything yourself without money in the bank for a cushion and support.

Fellow bootstrappers, I salute you — it is damned hard work, & life gets in the way a lot, but I hope to see you at the top one day.
